First Berkeley Cruise

I finally rode my skateboard for the first time in Berkeley, down Berkeley Way and Bonita Avenue.

To be honest, I’m realizing 53mm Spitfire Orbs are kind of hard to cruise with: they slow down extremely fast on the pavement, and very fast on the sidewalk. This effect is worse going uphill. Maybe I need to get better, or it could just be worth getting slightly better wheels.

I noticed that Berkeley Way goes sort of uphill/downhill (even just very slightly right now is hard for me), which makes it harder to skate on. Bonita Avenue feels more flat, on the other hand.
